Why Job Seekers Are Switching from Novorésumé.
Strict 1-Page Limit on Free Tier
Novoresume artificially blocks candidates with over 3-5 years experience from creating 2-page resumes unless they subscribe to Premium.
Expensive $19.99/Month Subscription
Job searching takes several weeks or months. Paying $19.99 every month simply to maintain or edit your resume is unnecessary.
Locked Fonts & Color Customization
Most modern fonts, custom accents, and layout re-ordering features are locked behind Novoresume’s paid tier.

Platform Overview
Novorésumé has a clean, minimalist interface and produces visually structured resumes. However, its strict 1-page ceiling on the free plan frustrates mid-level and senior professionals who inevitably need a second page for career highlights, publications, or technical proficiencies.
ATS Parser Testing Results
Novorésumé resumes parse well in general ATS screeners. However, their rigid column widgets sometimes cause text overlaps or awkward white-space gaps when candidates have varying amounts of text per job.
Pricing Model & Renewal Mechanics
Novorésumé Premium costs $19.99 per month, or $39.99 for 3 months, which quickly adds up during an extended job search.
Recruiter Verdict
ResumeBuilder delivers the same polished executive aesthetics as Novorésumé Premium, but includes multi-page support, AI tailoring, and vector PDF exports 100% free.
